Richard and Sheila are part of Leeds Mosaic Church (South), leading the pastoral team and helping run a mission group. Before moving to Leeds at the end of 2020, they led the Freedom in Christ ministry at Emmanuel Church Durham.

They first came across FIC in 2011, have run FIC courses regularly from 2015 and use FIC material 1-1. They have seen the freedom teaching impact significantly on their own lives, and they count it a huge privilege every year to see God use the courses in ways that are life-changing for others. Both are keen to see Christians becoming everything they can be, knowing who they are and what God has given them in Christ.

They love supporting other churches to establish FIC ministries, and offer 1-1 Steps to Freedom in Christ appointments to leaders as part of this. Sheila co-ordinates the Prayer40 for FIC across Northern England.

Music, country walks and being grandparents provide delight for them both.
